They treat you like family from your first visit to your last. Led by Dr. Karen E. Guinn, a Board Certified Orthodontist who brings thirty years of experience to the table, there isn’t anything the team can’t do!
Meet Dr. Guinn
Doctor Karen E. Guinn is a Board Certified Orthodontist, and has been providing orthodontic care and changing lives one smile at a time for over thirty years. Residents of Pasadena have come to know her as the “Green Street Dentist” since her flagship dental office is right on the iconic Pasadena road, Green St.
She recognizes that each patient has specific needs, and strives to provide the best orthodontic care for every one of her patients at either one of The Smile Agency’s convenient locations in Pasadena and W. Covina. Her goal is to give you a braces lift without a face lift, and to help you live life smiling!

Dr. Guinn believes the difference is in the details, she has treated all kinds of cases from simple crowding, to severe bite corrections. She provides orthodontics for all ages, so whether you are looking into Invisalign or braces for yourself or your children: Smile… the orthodontic exam is free! As Dr. Guinn likes to say, “A Smile Never Dies…”
In her free time, Dr. Guinn enjoys cooking, writing, and photography. She loves to travel with her three children, and loves to take photos of all her sights. She has traveled all over the country, but also internationally to South Africa and Costa Rica, for both business and pleasure. She believes in being a part of her community and giving back. In fact, she is the founder of Test Success, Inc., a Non-profit test-taking strategies program. Dr. Guinn is a member of the Pasadena City College Foundation, also a member of Jack and Jill of America Incorporated.
Dr. Guinn also provides care for all issues relating to orthodontics, such as TMJ therapy, snoring therapy, non-surgical and extraction-free orthodontics. She knows a beautiful smile is always in style, so our patient can feel comfortable knowing Dr. Guinn treats her patients like family.
Professional Affiliations: American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, National Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the San Gabriel Dental Society.
